Nora would practically jump backwards to get at the tree. She loved touching everything...just like the three year old, but I can put the three year old in time out!

Just a side note.
I am in the Young Women's Presidency now. Love it! I was also in the Young Women's presidency in New York for 2 years and loved it there also. I just wanted to share with all who look at our blog my awesome find. WORDLE!!!!! Subway art is pretty big right now...or so I hear. Anyway, I found this awesome site called Wordle and it is so much fun. I took the new theme for this new year (the 13th article of Faith) and wordled it for the girls for Christmas gifts. They loved them!

Emma says the darndest things...
On November 25, as many of you did, we watched the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade. Emma loved watching the big balloons! I couldn't stop wanting to practice my can-can kicks...Those Rocketts are awesome! Anyway, at the end of the parade the big man himself made his appearance, that's right Santa! Richard turned to Emma and asked her "Who is that?" Emma responded in whispered aw..."The Wizard!"
Apparently we need to have a little talk...

Princess Hair
I've wanted to try foam curlers in Emma's hair for quite some time. The other day I did. I told Emma they were princess curlers and if she slept in them at night she would have princess hair in the morning. She loved them! But she wouldn't let me take a good picture of her after.
She now asks for her princess curlers...
Cake for GraMimi
I wanted to make my Mom a cake for her birthday...this is what I came up with.
My brother Landon and his son Grayson were over that day. Grayson and Emma loved looking at the pumpkin cake.
We love you Mom!
Silly in Seattle
October 14 we headed over to Seattle to spend time with Bryan and Heather and get family pictures taken. We attempted to go to a cute pumpkin patch while we were there but it started to rain soon after so it was cut short.
Sadie looking oh so cute!
Heather and Katrina, Richard and Emma coming out of the awesome slide.
I was packing Nora and this was a shot I took of her...not very good, but I thought it was cute.
Emma's 3!
I can't believe Emma is 3! We had a little party for her with her grandparents. Richard wanted to do a "weenie roast" for her birthday. So we had a fun time watching Emma run around like a crazy zambeenie...no interest in food what-so-ever.
Emma sporting her cute little car she got...
Lucky girl! Emma had her grandparents, and a set of great-grandparents at her party.
Emma blowing out her candles.
My Mom made Emma's Mrs. Potts cake for her. My Mom wasn't to happy with the spout saying it looked like "dumbo" instead of Mrs. Potts. But I thought it was pretty awesome!
Fall on the Farm
In September we went for a lovely walk on the farm. We enjoyed watching Emma run around eating her apple, and Nora wishing she could have some too.

We also went to the doctors today for her 6 month check up and shots.
Her stats are:
Length: 26 1/4" 50-75 %
Weight: 17 lb 13.9 oz 75-90%
Isn't it beautiful!
Yesterday we had a crazy storm here in Ephrata. Emma loved watching the storm from the window, she kept saying "isn't it beautiful!". Richard just couldn't help letting Emma have her way, so he took her outside. Don't worry, we waited till after the hail...
