Were leaving on a jet plane, don’t know if we’ll be SANE again!!!

Richard thought I was lame for doing that title. But it made me chuckle, and that all that matters.
I thought I better post a little something before we go to Washington for Christmas. I don't think I'm going to be doing any posting there. But if I have time...maybe. Were leaving on Tuesday the 16, and already we are anxious to get Emma off the last plane from a 12+ hour long long long day. It stresses us out even thinking about it! Waking up and getting ready to get out of the house by 3:30 am is just the start of it!
In a more happier note...well to us anyway, Emma is beginning to be a little crazy child. A lot of women would love there babies to stay babies but I'm the complete opposite. I love watching Emma do new things! I love that now we can see her little personality shining through. Even when she throws a fit and swipes at me or even throws something I can't help but snicker! I know I'm not going to be like that for long, so for now I'm enjoying those moments.
This is Emma's new thing. She will grab her Kitty hat and want us to put it on her, then she will crawl around the house and look at us and meow. Of course we are encouraging this behavior...more for our amusement.
We wanted to see how Emma would do with headphones. She loved them! Hopefully that stays the same when were on the plane.

Catch Up

On October 24th we went to Red Robin, Emma was a goofball the whole time. We got Emma some Mac and Cheese and after she would take a bite...
she would do this. Needles to say She liked the mac and cheese and apparently liked the comfy high chair as well.
Just wanted to post some pictures of the rainbow we saw last Saturday the 25th. It was huge! I don't think I have ever been so near a rainbow. We could see the whole thing. Yes we were very tempted to go to the end of the rainbow to get some gold, but we were in a hurry to get to our ward trunk-or-treat party.
Emma was a lady bug this year. Thank you Grandma Adams! It did come with some antennas but she wouldn't keep them on so we put pig tails on her instead.

I had to post this cute picture of Emma after the party. I love her little bum in the air. Richard also thinks she looks like a ninja.

Sacred Grove in the Fall

Sorry it's taken me forever to get this post up.
On October 17th we decided to go to the Sacred Grove and take some pictures before it got to cold. Let me just tell you, if you ever want to go to the Sacred Grove, go in the Fall. It was beautiful! Walking through was wonderful. Since all the leaves are on the ground you can't tell your walking on a trail so it feels even more personal. And who doesn't love the sound of leaves crunching beneath your feet when you walk.

We also took more pictures of Emma. Which was fine with her. She loved being on the ground playing with the leaves. She got upset with us every time we picked her up.

Out of all the pictures we took of Emma this last one is my favorite.

One One One!

Here are a bunch of pictures of Emma on her birthday. We wanted to take advantage of all the beautiful sites in Gettysburg. So out of the 368 pictures we took (not all of them were Emma, but most of them were!) Here are 10 for your enjoyment! Richard doesn't like that I'm putting pictures of him on here, but I know Nadine will love it!

Emma turns 1! Well almost...

Emma officially turns 1 on Monday the 13th, but we are actually in Gettysburg for a few days so she had her birthday a little early.

Thanks Grandma's!

Emma wanted her cousin Winston to know she loves Bitter Biscuits too!

This is for Grandpa Adams...Emma loves to watch the Lawrence Welk Show...

By popular demand...

So Leisha decided to put Emma's hair in little pig tails yesterday. She looked so cute we had to take pictures. Please note that this was after a doctor visit and a nap, so all the ribbons are out and the tails are a little lopsided. As a side note, Emma has ear infections in both ears, we didn't even know because she didn't "complain" or alter her behavior in any way. We took her to the clinic just because she has had a cough and runny nose for over a week. Poor kid. When I got out the camera Emma just started smiling and posing...
Be a tiger! Now growl Emma!
Look at that sultry pose...
We took this one because Emma has started pulling herself up a bit. She pulled herself up to a standing position at Grandma Adams' house last Sunday and I have been trying hard to replicate the event.
