Emma has become quite the little talker. I think she takes after Stuart, when we are out in public she is quiet, when we get home we can't get her to stop talking.

The Past Week

This post is just a bunch of cute pictures from the past week.

You might think that we take a lot of pictures of Emma...

and you would be right. But what else are we suposed to do?

Sunday Feb 10:

We just had to take some pictures of Emma sporting her

little pink polka-dot dress Aunt Melanie got her.

This picture was just so dang cute I had to share. Wendsday Feb 13:

Emma's 4 month old birthday!

We just took her for her 4 month check up today

and her stats are...

Weight: 14 lb 9 oz

Length: 25 inches on the dot

She is in the 75th percentile in her length and weight. She is in the 60th percentile in her head size.

Thursday Feb 14:

Emma sporting the little valentine's day outfit Gramimi got her.

She had a little fall during the photo shoot.

Trip to the Sacred Grove

We decided to make a quick trip up to Palmyra and enjoy the church sites. We stopped by the Hill Cumorah and then went over to the Joseph Smith farm and the Sacred Grove. Emma was asleep for most of the trip but we woke her up to take this picture in the grove.

Leisha is so beautiful isn't she?

Just entering the grove we stopped for pictures on the little bridge that crosses the small stream. It was pretty flooded because of all the rain we have had. Hopefully you can all make a visit and see the Grove when it is snowing!

Feeding time

Our little bug is getting so big! She can basically feed herself now. We just need to teach her how to make a bottle...

No more tummy time...

Emma has found a way to get out of tummy time. Observe...

This isn't a one time thing, we had another video (which was too big for the blog) that showed her doing it 3 times in a row! She must really hate tummy time.

Bath Time

Emma is such a cute kid, especially after her nightly bath.

You can see why we named her after Uncle Jay...

Just For Fun

I don't think Emma likes the camera.

Every time she sees it she gives it this look.

Last Sunday

Emma got this little dress from her great Grammie.

So of course we had to take some pictures of her.

This first one she was pretty sleepy...

but with a little help from Daddy... we got a smile. I thought these photos were very cute and funny.

Emma was being very cuddly with her Daddy,

but she has a funny face in all of the pictures.

So Richard tried to copy her.

Emma has two finger puppets from Gramimi, one is a sheep.

She can hold them in her hands now.

But right when she has them in her tight little fingers they go straight to her mouth.

I thought it was so cute I took some photos.

I love her little smile on this first one.

We were seeing if some of Emma's 3-6 month outfits would fit her a couple of days ago.

We tried on this one that Grandma Adams (Nadine) got her and I couldn't

help myself, she just needed a photo shoot.

She keeps on telling me that she wants more pictures with me and Emma.

I thought this photo was cute of Emma and me, then I flipped it... I have never seen her make that face before, but I think it's hilarious.

Tummy Time

We haven't been very good with tummy time with Emma.

So since we have been back from Washington we have been doing tummy

time a couple times a day.

I love this picture of her on her tummy with a tear coming down her cheek.

Stuart warms up to Emma

It was fun seeing Stuart warm up to little Emma. He first thought of her as just a loud baby, but by the end I think they became good friends...

Emma with her new cousin Reed! Reed was born on December 23rd the day she was blessed!

Emma was blessed on December 23rd. We didn't get any pictures of her that day, so Shaila my Mom and myself had fun doing a photo shoot with her before we left for home.
