WARNING: VERY LONG POST...MAY BE BORING TO SOME
For Richard's spring break we decided to go to Massachusetts and see the sites. We left on Monday the 16 and came back Thursday the 19. The first two nights we stayed in Middleborough, close to Cape Cod and the the last night we spent in Boston.
We spent all Tuesday driving Cape Cod. Here are a couple of pictures of what we did...
We like to take Mara's memory with us all around the world! (it was in Paris, but it was too cold to come out from under the winter coat...)

Wednesday we spent the whole day seeing Boston. Emma enjoyed the hotel view of the Leonard P. Zakim - Bunker Hill Bridge.

Lucky for us my cousin Nikki is in Boston right now for a couple of months. We had fun going to their apartment and meeting Jonas for the first time. Nikki also came with us to the Aquarium and she took us to Mike's Pastry.
It was fun watching Jonas and Emma play.

Sorry the pictures are sideways...I didn't download them that way. Oh well! Nikki was told about this Mikes Pastry place so we went and had a Lobster Tail...it was pretty good and pretty big.
After we ate a couple of bites of our lobster tails we said goodbye to Nikki so she could get home and take care of Jonas. (Thanks Nikki for letting us hang with you for a couple of hours! Well see you in D.C. in the Fall!)

Emma just kept on sleeping, which was pretty amazing because the sidewalks were all bumpy brick and cracked cement!

We let Emma pick an animal at the aquarium gift shop...of course she wanted everything but she sucked on the penguin so that's the one she got.

We had lots of fun. We managed to get the 3 best days of the week, with lots of sun. Richard even found a little Peruvian restaurant in East Boston so he could get his ceviche fix. We enjoyed listening to the stereotypic Boston accent yelled in the streets. Emma had fun calling down to the concierge desk just to say "Hi" (our room in Boston had a seperate bedroom with a phone that Emma got a hold of without us knowing!). It was a great trip and we kept thinking about our family who has lived in the area at one time or another (Landon, Milo, Uncle Jay and Rock), Boston is still here and a great city to visit.
