New York, New York

On the 12th, we left Emma with Roger and Nadine while we headed to New York City! We had saved up enough points for 3 nights at the Marriott Marquis on Times Square. Our main purpose for the visit...the musicals of course! We saw Phantom, Wicked, Lion King and Wicked again...
We took a tour through the city on the double decker buses. Just watch out for the low hanging signs and tree branches! This is looking south at Times Square. This is a view out of our room. We had a gorgeous view of Times Square just eye level with the ball that drops on New Years! We tried to get on TV at the Today Show, unfortunately the only thing that made it on was my hand. Rockefellar Plaza. Home of NBC studios.
We even got to drive by the Manhattan Temple.
Hey dumb dumb, you bring me gum gum?
The American Museum of Natural History
A veiw of the skyscrapers from Central Park. We walked across the park after the museum.
Another must see in NYC...the FAO Swartz toy store! Complete with life-size lego sculptures of Harry Potter and the gang!
And of course, Lady Liberty.
After we saw Wicked we walked down Broadway and went up to the top of the Empire State Building. It was amazing to see the city all lit up.
Thanks Roger and Nadine for coming to Geneva so we could spend Emma's birthday in NYC...without Emma...

Yeah we plan on reminding Emma later how you left her on her birthday. However I believe she had lots of fun with Nani and Grandpa who let her do whatever she wanted...life is good for grandparents!! Thanks for posting actual pictures of Leisha - she is a hottie!

That's my kid's favorite quote when there is gum around. Can't wait to show them this photo, they'll love it. What a nice getaway!
