Emma went to bed at 8pm tonight...Richard and I broke out the ice cream and pop corn and started World News...Emma started crying at 8:50pm...Richard went in her room to comfort her and this is the conversation that preceded...
Richard: Hey Emma what are you doing?
Emma: Are you eating popcorn?
Richard: No...
Emma: It smells like popcorn.
Richard still feeling the greasy butter on his lips...had an idea
Richard: No I just put on new chap stick that smells like popcorn...see...
Richard then leans down and kisses Emma on the forehead.
Apparently, she was satisfied with his LIE that she went back to sleep.
Richard came out of the bedroom laughing, and feeling really guilty about lying to our 3 year old. I think he'll be giving her some popcorn tomorrow...what do you think?

Called out by the 3 year old. TOO funny! We always have to wait to start the corn popping, they smell it in their sleep!
That is pretty silly! I hope Emma ate popcorn the next day with extra butter!
