Saturday drive with Gramimi!
We decided it was time to get out of the house and let Gramimi see the wonders of the Finger Lakes!
So of course we went down to Ithaca and showed off Cornell...

We even found a petting zoo type thing at the mall parking lot. Emma liked the animals...until they made eye contact with her...

I also took everyone to a really cool cemetery I found the other day. It is huge and has sections with all sorts of graves. There are modern areas, mid 1800 areas, and really old late 1700 early 1800 areas like those shown below. It is a really pretty cemetery.

A few more pics!
So I didn't plan on doing another post, but as I was heading to bed I decided to transfer some pics from the camera to the computer and found some super cute ones that I had to put on!
This is Emma's idea of a hospital visit...
She was pretending to be a ghost in the privacy curtain. This was before or after cleaning the floor with her shirt and pants by pretending to be a snake...

I took Emma to the hospital this morning so she could meet her new baby sister! Leisha and Nora were both doing great. We arrived just after breakfast (for both Leisha and Nora...) and got some cute pictures of Nora making faces. You can tell that daddy tried to do Emma's hair this morning without much success...
I love this picture of Nora's face and her dark hair. I can just imagine her rocking out to Dream Theater or some other progressive rock!

She is here!!!!!!
Well it finally happened! The last couple days have been pretty crazy. We knew she was going to come early...
At about 4:30 Leisha's water broke and we frantically tried to find a place for Emma to hang out. Luckily a sister in our ward (who happens to be the nursery leader and married to my thesis advisor...) was willing to watch Emma for as long as we needed. I quickly dumped Emma off and she supposedly had fun playing with their little dog and piano.
Leisha and I checked in to the hospital and got ready for what we thought would be a long night. Leisha had to have her grape juice!
Leisha was amazing! She was having lots of contractions at quick intervals and managed to hold still the whole time she go the epideral.
I left just after the epideral (about 8:10) to go pick up Emma and bring her back to the house for the night. Sis. Robinson was kind enough to watch Emma the rest of the night too! As I was driving to the apartment I got a call from the hospital saying that I should hurry back! So once again I dumped Emma off and scrambled back to the hospital. I arrived at 8:40 just as the doctor was walking in and ready to start the pushing. 3 contractions and 6 minutes later Nora was born! Cutting it close there dad!

Hello Snow!
No we didn't get more snow, Emma just wanted to sing you a song! (Notice how she carefully selects her song and then clears her throat...)
For those of you who don't speak "Emma", the lyrics are:
Hello snow, hello snow
Where are you? Where are you?
Everyone is waiting, everyone is waiting
Start to fall, start to fall.
Enjoy!!!
38 Week tummy shot!
On an unrelated note...It is starting to warm up here and that means the bugs are starting to come out (or should I say in...). Leisha spends most of her day staring at the walls and windows in the kitchen and living room watching for ants. The other local favorite is the "silverfish" (seen below). I am not sure if I would rather have silverfish or spiders...probably the silverfish...
