Niagara Falls!

So we decided that it was about time we visited Niagara Falls in the winter. We hadn't been in a while so we forgot how "nice" the Canadian border patrol was... Anyway, it was freezing! Imagine that! The area right next to the horseshoe falls was completely covered in freezing mist. Literally is was the mist from the falls that would freeze and fall like snow, except it was sharp like ice. Emma loved it!

Sugar Daddys

We had some Sugar Daddy's up on the table that Emma found.

A lot of snow in the sacred grove

When we got back to New York the first thing we wanted to do was go to the Sacred Grove.

Here are some shots of the Grove with a lot of snow.

You can tell by the bench that I was not kidding when I said "a lot."

Adams cousin fun

Poor Rulon, Emma would not leave him alone. And as we all know Rulon did "not like that red eye..."

Rundles

The Rundle's are very important to us. They are the adopted grandparents of the Adams and Bair families. Here are a couple of lovely shots of them holding the new additions.

Bradley gets his Call

On December 26 Bradley got his Mission call. Perfect timing the whole family got to be there while he opened it.

He was called to the Brazil Fortaleza mission. Erik and Heather had a good reaction to his call because Heather's sister just got called to the same mission and they are both leaving the same day...notice Nadine's reaction in the photos. This was the first (and only) mission call that Nadine has ever been present for (of all her boys).

Nerf guns and bobboo sockies

When we went back to the Adams house on Christmas the boys had a lovely game of Nerf guns and bobboo sockies(a long sock filled with another sock...good for hitting and whacking) going on.

Richard destroying Erik...don't worry Lincoln is loading his gun in the photo and he got Richard back for his Dad.

Richard was hit repeatedly probably.

You can see the glow of joy radiating from him.

Christmas Morning

We spent Christmas Eve night with my family so we could do Christmas morning with them.

Emma in her new rocking chair and all dressed up ready to hit the town.

Richard got Emma some cute dress ups while he was in London. She was the "Queen of the Castle!"

Mom forgot she put Emma's headband on her head. Classic Mom moment.

Poppy and GraMimi got Emma these cute twins for Christmas, she loves them!

Our Star on Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we spent with the Adams and the missionaries. The kids did the Nativity story and Emma was the star.

She was an excellent star.

She also accompanied Nani on the piano...how very thoughtful of her.

The best part was when she was done with the piano she started singing twinkle twinkle little star...she took her star roll very seriously.
