Adams Reunion

The Adams Reunion was at Ensign Ranch and it was a blast! A lot of these photos were taken by Kirsten or Erik...but mostly Kirsten.

Everyone watching the award show plus Vera's kids were asked questions about each other. Very funny stuff!

Back to March!!!!!

So I haven't blogged in a long time...I also remembered I didn't even post Nora's first birthday! So this is the start of a bunch of posts that are about to rain down upon this blog.

Nora is 1! Well now she is almost 18 month but never mind that.

For Nora's birthday we just had her grandparent and my grandparents come over.

On Tuesday April 11th we went to Temple square.

Utah!

My older sister Brianne moved to Utah and my Mom and I were dieing to go visit! April 7 we headed out. Having her live there is a bonus for me, 'cause my Dad lives in Utah, so I get to visit them as well.

We had a great time with cousins! It was great having Shaila and Matt and the boys there as well! Shaila cooked us some Cafa Rio on Friday...mmmm...yummy...and we had some of our cousins over Cherise & Chad and Eddy & Miken! It was so good to see them.

Celebrating Mara!

We went over to Seattle on March 25-26 we were able to spend sometime with Bryan and Heather and the kids. We wish we could have spent more time with them! We were able to go to the cemetery and celebrate Mara's birthday by releasing some balloons for her. It was nice to be with them during this time.

Uncle Bryan let Emma hold the beautiful butterfly balloon...she let it go pretty much right after. It did give everyone a good laugh when Richard ran and jumped to save it...and failed.

It smells like popcorn...yes, yes it does.

Emma went to bed at 8pm tonight...Richard and I broke out the ice cream and pop corn and started World News...Emma started crying at 8:50pm...Richard went in her room to comfort her and this is the conversation that preceded...

Richard: Hey Emma what are you doing?

Emma: Are you eating popcorn?

Richard: No...

Emma: It smells like popcorn.

Richard still feeling the greasy butter on his lips...had an idea

Richard: No I just put on new chap stick that smells like popcorn...see...

Richard then leans down and kisses Emma on the forehead.

Apparently, she was satisfied with his LIE that she went back to sleep.

Richard came out of the bedroom laughing, and feeling really guilty about lying to our 3 year old. I think he'll be giving her some popcorn tomorrow...what do you think?

Nora is One One One!!!!!!

I can't believe it has been a year! Nora has gone from my little peanut, to my chunky 1 year old!

Some say that it takes weeks for baby's to smile...well I don't believe that. Both my girls were smiling just days old. Nora is a very smiley baby.

Obviously eating! Nora loves her food. She is very independent about it too. She will not let me feed her. She is very lady like and always tries to use her spoon though.

Just like big sister Emma, Nora loves to read. She also loves to play in Emma's room.
